Junior Research Fellow

Applications are invited from qualified candidates for the vacancy of a Junior Research Fellow in the DBT-assisted Research Project entitled “A pilot study for the bioconversion of hazardous DEHP plasticizer in plastics into a drug by Achromobacter dentrificans SPI” under Dr.Sailas Benjamin, Associate Professor, Department of Botany. Details of qualifications are given below.

1. Essential Qualifications : M.Sc.Biotechnology with not less than 60% marks,
2. Desirable Qualification: Any JRF passed or NET qualified or GATE with above 90 percentile or Research Experience or publications.
3. Age : less than 25 years.
4. Fellowship : 16000/- +10% HRA for 1st and 2nd year and 18000/- + 10% HRA for 3rd year.
5. No. of vacancy : One
6. Selection procedure: Written test and Interview

The selected candidate may be permitted to Register for PhD (in Biotechnology) under the Principal Investigator.
